Digital X-rays are a quick and safe way to obtain high quality images of your mouth so we can make accurate diagnoses of oral conditions and recommend the best treatment plan for you. Our modern digital X-ray technology uses very minimal radiation compared to traditional film X-rays. The standard recommendation is to receive one or two sets of X-rays every year, but we may require additional images in the case of a dental emergency, or if we discover an oral condition that needs to be evaluated further.
